Description

Palladium of Liberty is Ohio's first black newspaper, weekly published in Columbus, Ohio. The newspaper was directed by “An Executive Committee of Fifteen," later "Committee of Seven." David Jenkins served as a head editor, and many agents collaborated. Most of the issues survived from the first issue on December 27, 1843 to November 13, 1844 (total 32 issues).
